This a great night to get out and enjoy a glass of wine, beer, or light appetizers (.45 cent wings on Mondays) and experience 10-15 mini concerts. We have a great following already and it is very relaxing and fun to hear these talented musicians play! Music starts at 7:00

Every Monday Night at Harvey's in Huntersville
Play or write music but too nervous to take your first step to performing it live for other people? Tired of performing at open mic nights to apathetic crowds, singing through a guitar amp with no monitors, and then wondering how it went? Looking to hone your performance or songwriting skills, but not sure how. Come to THE OPEN MIC at Harvey's.
We will provide a professional, safe and inclusive environment for artists to perform, test out material, and develop their stage presence. Video and audio recordings will be made available so that artists can see and hear themselves first hand to identify strengths and areas to improve. If someone comes just to hear the music, they won't just watch and listen. They will be part of the process by giving artists feedback and supporting the growth of future all star performers.
As time goes on, we will also invite artists to featured gigs at Harveys, giving them the chance to highlight their talents as well as apply lessons learned from THE OPEN MIC. In order to support THE OPEN MIC and promote the artists that participate, we will also have a presence on social media such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and YouTube. Other supporting activities may include workshops, open forums, music go rounds, and online resources for artists to share knowledge and experience.
With the dedication of the owners of Harvey's, direction from an education professional/amateur performer, and the support of local musicians & residents, THE OPEN MIC will help establish a collaborative, local music community while providing a destination event that is both fun and interesting to both performers and spectators alike!
